Art Deco Bathroom Oasis

A transformation in more ways than one, John Kaminski from Bathroom Direct has created a character filled space that maximised views to native bush for a fun yet calming master en-suite for his clients, in a space that was formerly a wardrobe.

The brief was to create something quirky, fun and different that referenced the Art Deco style of the house. John sourced the Moroccan patterned tile called Musichall Multicolour from Tile Space for a character filled feature wall, which he paired with Grigio Techno 600x600 on the floor and shower wall to ground the space and link to the natural elements of the view and the handmade Macrocarpa bench top.

The small space required a few tricks to maximise the sense of space, such as frameless glass for the shower and white gloss tiles on the adjacent walls to maximise the light. The slim Avenir accessories are used throughout for a minimal yet sophisticated look and the Caroma Liano toilet stands out against the patterned tiles and adds definition and elegance to the space.

The tricky transformation was an easy process for the Manurewa couple, being able to hand over the details of the build to the experienced hands of Bathroom Direct combined with the expert design advice from John made the whole process enjoyable with a fantastic end result!
