We love how Amy and Stu have created a half wall splashback using the penny mosaic. The neutral but interesting colour palette matches perfectly with the patterned floor, an example of how two detailed tiles can work together effortlessly without one upstaging the other.

Both the black subway tile and concrete-look floor tile are from our new Diesel range which is inspired by industrial and metropolitan spaces. Italian tiles are known globally for their excellence in replicating natural materials and not only will they last for decades, they’ll look fantastic for decades too! The white concrete look floor tile really brightens this room and ensures the two black walls don’t overpower the space.

Pairing three bold tiles together is a brave move, but when done correctly creates a breathtaking space. The colour pallet in this room is contemporary and the mix of textures and patterns work perfectly together, creating a point of difference.
Using a monochrome, decorative tile on the floor creates a fun feature. Porcelain tiles are a great alternative to traditional Encaustic (cement) tiles, as they don’t need sealing making them perfect for showers and wet areas. The girls also used our Diesel Camp Black subway tiles, the beauty of this tile is that it comes in three finishes and can be laid mixed or separately. We love that the girls mixed the finishes to create a statement feature wall that is full of detail and interest. Using a contrasting grout makes the design pop, showing off the different finishes.

A stunning tropical and earthy theme for Claire and Agni's bathroom. They kept their colour palette natural with hints of green and brown. Timber-look tiles were the perfect choice for this room, enabling them to replicate natural materials, whilst still being practical and easy to maintain. Unlike natural wood, porcelain is impervious to water, stains, UV and fire, an obvious choice for a busy home. On the walls, they used stone look tiles, Maku Light and Maku Rock Light, a new take on the classic subway that adds a beautiful texture to the space.
Claire and Agni used a geometric star mosaic which they cleverly incorporated into small individual features to add a point of difference to their room.

They've done it again! Another win for Amy and Stu, do you love their ensuite as much as the judges?
The judges praised their bold feature floor in Week 2 so it's no surprise they choose another decorative tile for their en-suite floor. Our Moroccan inspired tiles have the look of handmade cement tiles, but in a practical porcelain tile, that doesn't need sealing and won't fade or wear over time. They matched this perfectly with an on-trend sage green subway tile that gives an earthy feel to the room. The rest of the space was kept neutral, reusing their winning Marlow subway tile from bathroom week but this time in a mist grey colour, keeping the space interesting without being too busy.
Feature Wall: Liverpool Pistache Gloss POR022 | Walls: Marlow Mist Gloss MT1364 Floor: Flower Pastel 20 EQU030 |
As the only team to not use decorative tiles on the floor, Ben and Tom's en-suite couldn't be more different from the rest. Using stone look tile Onyx Shadow on both walls was a bold move from the boys, however, it definitely creates wow-factor, similar to the fishscale wall created in their family bathroom. This is a stunning tile with depth and elegance brought out by its larger 600x1200 size.
One of the tricks to using dark tiles in a space is to use dark tiles with warm tones as it makes the room feel cosy rather than cave-like. They kept the tones similar in their other tile choices using Contrafalda Black a stone look tile on the back wall in a 600x1200 size and a lighter stone look option on the floor. Using large module tiles means fewer grout lines and makes the space look bigger, so a perfect choice for en-suite week.

The girls loved the decorative tile used in their family bathroom and were keen to do another patterned floor. With a Moroccan themed bedroom, the Music Hall Multicolour tile was a perfect choice. From its stunning pattern and bold colour palette, this tile replicates a traditional encaustic look with all the benefits of porcelain tile.
Music Hall Multicolour is a traditional octagon shaped tile, which is laid with a small 40x40 tile called a 'taco’ at the corner of every tile. The girls went for a black taco to match their statement shower and vanity. They paired their decorative floor with a classic white subway on the walls which creates a contemporary and crisp feel.

Claire and Agni used a gorgeous monochrome patterned tile on their ensuite floor, cleverly paired with black and white subway tiles on the wall.
The floor tile design has elements of Pacifica and the styling really works with the vibe in their family bathroom. Subway tiles have a classic look that stands the test of time and laying them in a brick lay pattern is a traditional look that keeps the space consistent. Using the same decorative tile in their shower cut out is a clever way of making the space pop, it stands out from the white and really brings the design together.

A stunning yellow kitchen for team yellow! We’re loving the vibrant subway tile Amy and Stu used in their Kitchen this week. This glossy wall only tile is perfect for splashbacks and feature walls and will bring a pop of colour to your space.

When it comes to creating elegant and timeless spaces it’s hard to go past marble. Claire and Agni used our marble look porcelain tile Marvel Stat Machia for their kitchen island and it looks amazing! The great thing about this tile is its ability to create the pattern you want. Claire and Agni used two different variations (A & B) to get this stunning X look. A perfect way of showcasing how tiles aren’t just for floors and walls.

A big week for the teams as they completed their Entrance, Stairs and Downstairs Powder Room. Tiles are the ideal choice for entrance ways as they are stain resistant, tough and easy to clean making them the perfection option for homeowners with allergies or busy families that want a low maintenance flooring option.
Amy and Stu used marble look tile Travertino Cream in a Matt finish and it instantly creates a warm, welcoming and calming atmosphere to their house. Their earthy colour palette and soft styling is a key representation of the rest of the house and carrying the tile through to their downstairs powder room keep the space cohesive. This 600x600 Italian tile has a high variation for a realistic look and is suitable for heavy commercial use.

Chlo and Em's Moroccan theme has been apparent this season and we love that they have kept this consistency in their entrance. Unlike the bold, decorative floors in their two bathrooms, the girls have used a stunning stone look tile on their floor and brought the trend to life through accessories. Stone Look tiles are perfect for this area as they give a fantastic warmth and ambience to a space, whilst also being a practical choice for high traffic areas.
In their downstairs powder room, the girls used our beautiful new Microtiles in Azure Herringbone. The range is inspired by soil, moss, tree's and rocks and brings a calming muted effect to the space. Available in 5 different formats this Italian made, full body porcelain tile can be used on floors as well as walls.

Amy and Stu carried their stone-look tile from their entrance way into the laundry which immediately creates a cohesive space and ties their downstairs area together.
They created a statement splashback using subway tile Artisan Rose Mallow with a contrasting grout. On-trend pink hues are a contemporary and sophisticated way of adding a splash of colour and the laundry is the perfect place to go bold and try something new. The Artisan range portrays an old-fashioned, handmade look and is all about crafted characteristics such as variation, unevenness and imperfect edges. This natural style works perfectly with the earthy theme of Amy and Stu's home.

Ben and Tom stepped out of their comfort zone this week and choose a bold, patterned tile for their laundry floor. The boys wanted a decorative tile that would win over the judges without disrupting their house's sleek and modern style. Our Goroka Gris 200x200 tile was the perfect fit, it creates a statement whilst tying in with their neutral colour palette. Decorative tiles have been a popular choice this season and the laundry is the perfect room to try this trend.
Floor: Goroka Gris VVS074
Chlo and Em have created a stunning space with a relaxing colour palette using our new arrival, Mini Mosaics. The girls used Mini Dot Pink to create a splashback with a point of difference. This beautiful collection of small tiles on a mosaic backing is available in a variety of shapes and colours and creates a contemporary take on the traditional ancient mosaic, with a soft, earthy colour palette. The girls kept the rest of their space neutral reusing our Nordic Islanda 450x900 stone look tile on the floor to tie together their Entrance and Powder Room.
Wall: Mini Dot Mosaic HER449 Floor: Nordic Islanda ITA230
Another bold, colourful room from Claire and Agni using our decorative tile Ladakhi Grafito. The arabesque/lantern pattern suits the style of their house, tying in with the bright colours and decorative wallpaper used throughout their house. They used a soft sage green on the walls which creates a soothing space and counterbalances the bright hues on the patterned floor. Unlike Encaustic/cement tiles, porcelain doesn't need sealing and won't fade or wear over time making them a practical and low-maintenance option for the laundry.
