This bathroom proves a minimalistic look can still be interesting and bold. Form and Dwell have achieved a stunning bathroom design using bold, decorative floor tile Marra Flower and pairing it with 3D effect wall tile, Super White Stitch mosaic. The combination of shapes gives the spaces a geometric feel while the subtle Monochrome colour palette keeps the room fresh and contemporary.
We spoke to Josh Stewart, Managing Director at Form and Dwell about how this design came together, "When designing any space we generally want to keep it as minimalistic as possible, focusing on adding value and functional beauty. It is also very important to us that everything in the space works together to create the desired feeling. For project Amapur, we focused on creating a calm & warm space. With the sophisticated Marra Flower tiles on the floor being busy, the colour and feel of the Super White Stitch Mosaic tiles on the walls balanced the space, complemented by the bathroom fixtures."
Encaustic-look tiles or more commonly known Morrocan inspired tiles are the perfect addition to this space. They have created a bold feature floor with wow factor. Porcelain tile is a great alternative to traditional Encaustic (cement) tiles as it doesn’t need sealing and is impervious to water, making them perfect for showers and wet areas.
The choice of wall tile gave a real point of difference to this room. With its 3D effect, the Super White Stitch Mosaic is the perfect combination to a busy floor whilst still adding texture and character.
